Whether or not we receive or reject Jesus, comes down to how we respond to His Word.

Jesus came to restore God's people to their proper place in fellowship with God by trusting God's Word and thus gaining vicetory where our father Adam failed.

Who is this Jesus? In this passage we'll hear about jesus from three souces, the prophet John, Jesus' family line, and God the Father Himself.

In describing the ministry of John the Baptist we are given a clear picture of what it really means to repent.

Like most teen-agers, the son of Mary and Joseph brings them great distress, although he does so primarily becasue he is so unlike most teen-agers.

God shows His kindness to two members of the faithful remnant, who were looking to God for redemption of God's people, and were able to lay their eyes on Jesus, the answer to their prayers.

The birth of John was a clear sign that God's plan of redemption was sure to be completed.

We will focus on the way the bible teaches us to "Continue in the faith" through daily reminding ourselves of the promises of the Gospel in God's Word.

We are shown that clearly the LORD was in sovereign control over the events surrounding the birth of the Savior, and will continue to be until His work is completed

Here is the surpsing accounf of how God began a major, decisive work in history, yet initially, only two Hebrew women were made aware of it.

Before the Lord sends the Christ, He first sends His messenger to prepare His people for their Savior and Lord.

God wants us to know Jesus, so He provided us with the Gospel accounts so that we would know for certain that Jesus is the Christ, the Son og God.
