Dr. Christopher Roman, author of Queering Wolverine in Comics and Fan Fiction: A Fastball Special, brings his background as a professor specializing in comics studies and queer theory to analyze this depiction of one of the gayest X-Men – Iceman! And while there’s plenty of queerness to pull from Bobby’s coming out story (told through a futuristic mind probe…for some reason) it’s also split with a Videoman return that doesn’t quite give Iceman his due.
