Richard Drumm and Jonathan Victory begin Quantum of Friendship with a look at "edgy reboot Bond" in Casino Royale. A relatively unproblematic entry in the Bond canon, Daniel Craig bursts through the dry wall of obscurity to take his place as 007. Richard gets frustrated by Jonathan's seeming inability to pay attention to basic storytelling while Jonathan is besotten with the raspy-voiced wonder of France's greatest export besides cowardice, Eva Green.
