Today my guest is Tiffany Sowby, founder of a new foundation, Rising Violet, supporting mostly women who are trying to establish financial independence from previous partners who were the sole bread winners. Many women feel cultural expectations and pressure to rely entirely upon their partners for financial security, but due to death, divorce, and other circumstances, later find they are unable to provide for themselves or their family.   Tiffany shares her story behind the creation of Rising Violet, who Violet was and why they do what they do.
