Trenita Thomas was born and raised in Washington D.C. and although she was raised in the church, she did not accept and receive Jesus as her personal Lord and Savior until the age of 32.  Since that time, Trenita has gone on to serve the Lord in many capacities, ministering through song in the choir, sharing/singing/praying at various nursing homes as well as a Women’s shelter in D.C.   In addition, Trenita serves a  Women’s group called S.W.A.G. which stands for Sister’s with a Glow - the name taken from Exodus 34:29 (The Message version) When Moses came down from Mount Sinai carrying the two Tablets of The Testimony, he didn't know that the skin of his face glowed because he had been speaking with God ) that was formed in September of 2011. The group meets on Tuesday nights and has been instrumental in bringing about healing for Women, married and single alike. To God be all the Glory.
