DTFW Features Friday Night Joy Episode with Guest Sister Trenita Thomas delivering the message "Love Notes" Sister Trenita Thomas was born and raised in Washington D.C. and although she was raised in the church, she did not accept and receive Jesus as her personal Lord and Savior until the age of 32.  Since that time, Trenita has gone on to serve the Lord in many capacities, ministering through song in the choir, sharing/singing/praying at various nursing homes as well as a Women’s shelter in D.C.   In addition, Trenita serves a Women’s group called S.W.A.G. (Sister’s With A Glow) that was formed in September of 2011.  The name was inspired by Exodus 34:29 (The Message version)..."When Moses came down from Mount Sinai carrying the two Tablets of The Testimony, he didn't know that the skin of his face glowed because he had been speaking with God..."
