Listen To Me So You Can Really Hear

Informações:

Sinopse

We talk to people all the time --in-person, over the phone, or through various communication and video apps. When we engage in conversation with others, we share what's on our hearts. It's a comfort to have a listening ear. Hopefully, everyone has a confidant who fullfils that role. What happens when the role is shifted? Do we listen and become self-involved? Do we listen and disregard the other person's feelings? Or, do we always listen waiting for the opportunity to give an answer? Proverbs 1:5-6 says, "let the wise listen and add to their learning, and let the discerning get guidance—for understanding proverbs and parables, the sayings and riddles of the wise." (NIV) We like to have a listening ear. However, oftentimes it's difficult for us to respond to that very need of someone and do the same. Join us Tuesday, April 21, 2020, at 3:30 PM, PDT, as we consider the importance of hearing, listening, and learning when in conversation.
