Pushing The Limits

In this week's episode of "Pushing the Limits I had the privilege of interview world renown cancer researcher Professor Thomas Seyfried the author of over 150 peer reviewed publications and the author of the book "Cancer as a Metabolic Disease"   For 30 years Professor Seyfried has been in the trenches as a geneticist and biochemist studying cancer cells and working out the intricacies of how to stop them proliferating. He says there are two primary fuels that cancer cells use in their abhorrent metabolism, Glucose and Glutamine and that if we can cut the fuel supply of these two things to the cancer cells we have a powerful non toxic way of killing cancer cells.
