What if life was a SciFi story? You come from the year 3000, born into a Jewish family in San Diego California, stricken with Lyme Disease, you have some religious run-ins who banish you to hell, but you came out alive making your own way. Jesse Mercury is a cosmic entity from the year 3000, flung out of time with no way to get home. His only hope is to send musical signals into the cosmos in an attempt to attract a higher form of life capable of sending him back to his time. Thus was born the SciFi album, a continually expanding collection of songs inspired by Jesse’s cosmic journeys, and the Jesse Mercury himself.
