Mr. Toilet made its world premiere on April 27 2019 at North America's largest documentary festival, Hot Docs Canadian International Documentary Festival. Nearly 60% of people worldwide do not have access to safe sanitation facilities. Globally, almost a billion people continue to defecate in public which risks the spread of disease. Everyday, 1,000 children die from water and sanitation-related diarrheal diseases. These deaths are preventable. Please welcome to the show Director, Lily Zepeda and activist, Jack Sim.
