Many of us have ridden coast to coast. We do it on Harley-Davidson Ultra Classics, BMW R1200GS's, Honda Gold Wings or RT's. Our guest tonight has done it many times. It is always an adventure whatever we choose to ride. NormNelson defines an adventure motorcyclist.  His prize 1958 Harley-Davidson Sportster has been his choice for two coast to coast rides to Alaska including all the way up the Alcan Highway. The interesting thing is those two trips were 25 years apart! Norm has competed in two coast to coast Motorcycle Cannonball twice. In his first effort he finished third. His second try resulted in a second place finish. In 2016, Norm Nelson will compete in his third Motorcycle Cannonball. This time he will be riding a 1911 Reading Standard 500cc Single cylinder, single speed motorcycle that is little more than a bicycle frame with about 5 horsepower.
