The fourth in our series for Lent on the fruit of the Spirit, we explore the kindness and goodness of God who creates all things and declares them to be good, and ask ourselves what it means to bear the fruit of kindness and goodness in our lives, just like God our Creator is kind and good. The fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control. God is good and made all things to be good, and in God's kindness God joins us as Jesus, the Word made flesh, God's own self become part of the creation.
