We trust that all Scripture is breathed by God, and so we look to the Scriptures for teaching, testing, correction, and training in justice. The fourth in our five week series on reading the Bible, this week we explore the sayings of Jesus where he says "the Son of Man came..." as we explore who Jesus is and the purpose of his life and teachings, his death on the Cross for us and the world, and resurrection to new life. Today's sermon is delivered by our student minister, Mitchell Anderson, and looks at three sayings of Jesus: The Son of Man came eating and drinking. (Matthew 11:19) The Son of Man came not to be served but to serve, and to offer his life as a ransom for many. (Mark 10:45) The Son of Man came to seek and to save the lost. (Luke 19:10)
