We trust that all Scripture is breathed by God, and so we look to the Scriptures for teaching, testing, correction, and training in justice. The second in our five week series on reading the Bible, this week we wrestle with the messages of the prophets to seek justice, love kindness, and walk humbly with our God. Our sermon this week is by Mitchell Anderson our student minister. The scripture lessons we engaged with are First Kings 21:1-21, Amos 5:21-24, and Micah 6:6-8 Each week we are also learning from United Church teaching on Scripture. This week's principle is “our interpretation of the Bible is most clearly shown in the way we live" from The Authority and Interpretation of Scripture.
