From a small town in southern Indiana to opening for Kenny Chesney and Keith Urban, Clayton Anderson is taking on country music. It hasn’t been an easy battle and he continues to fight but Clayton has the talent, drive and likability to make it big! Although he didn’t pick up a guitar until his senior year in high school he learned fast. He started a band while attending Indiana University in Bloomington but after college started working in the “real world” at a mortgage company and in landscaping. Entering the Kenny Chesney’s Next Big Star battle-of-the-bands contest changed everything. He won the Cincinnati round in 2008 and opened for Kenny at the Riverbend Music Center. He shares a bit of what it was like backstage that night complete with a Leann Rimes sighting. Afterwards he was officially bitten by the music bug and moved to Nashville to pursue a career.
