On this episode of AGP, I welcome my friend Troy Copes from Uncommon Geek. A long time ago, on a starship far, far awayâ?¦ A child was born unto the â??verse. Being fathered by a Starfleet officer and mothered by a Jedi, this little geekling has the best of both worlds, except without the Borg. Troy Copes started The Uncommon Geek back in May of 2011 as a way to give a voice to the geek side of life. The original tag like was "A blog about one geeks quest through the long running RPG we call life." The site has since then taken on a life of its own to the point where people have started coming up with a philosophy about the name. Troy is a life long geek. He even saw Return of the Jedi opening day in 1983, though he was only a year and a half old at the time, but he claims that it still counts.
