He works at the intersection of psychology, behavioral economics, and cognitive neuroscience, applying theoretical frameworks drawn from these fields to historical and political case studies. In simpler terms, his specific research is on effective decision-making, goal achievement, emotional and social intelligence. He’s published over 25 peer-reviewed articles in academic venues, as well as in a couple of books. He is currently a tenure-track professor at The Ohio State University in the History of Behavioral Sciences and an active member of the Decision Sciences Collaborative there.
