You don’t need to go far, like Jodi Ettenberg said in episode 10, “What does off the beaten path really mean? However, through his travels, he became more curious about these secrets, and set out on a physical journey to uncover the truth. While in Cambodia, he was working on a novel; however, through interacting with the people he uncovered an unshared history of Cambodian culture as a result of what the Khmer Rouge did in the 1970s.
