Kidadah serves girls with grooming, public speaking, and workshops that cut the risk of their at risk status one milestone at a time. And who wrote the finale music in the movie Drumline? Who's writing five cadences in its sequel, Game Changer Minister James Riles, that's who! And he brought to the studio two outstanding students from his Drumline school. Special Guest Host Dr. Dee Greathouse provided a thought provoking hour with interviews of two great life authors Dr. Alisa Nelson-Wade and Dr. Elmer Towns. Dr. Wade penned a life memoir Imitating the Tree that has everyone talking and believing in living again! Dr. Elmer Towns needs no introduction as the Co-Founder of Liberty University but he thought it not robbery to add to his over 170 publications a fond tribute to baseball. He titled it Grandpa Pitched for the Cubs. He crowned the hour with captivating excerpts that fondly told of his love of baseball in life and the novel. We supported a front runner; heard from a survivor and learned from a scholar on three diseases that continue to plague our country. Le'Dor Phoenix, the 2015 Atlanta Woman of the Year Candidate for the The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society stayed with us for the hour. Le'Dor has amazingly changed the game inside and outside her chosen industries while continuing to pursue studies, raise a family and campaign for Lukemia. She is amazing and you will enjoy every word she shares. Sickle Cell Day was on its way but not without the support and rally of Dr. Milford Green. Dr. Green works for the foundation and provides valuable insight we all need to know about ourselves and families. About midways through we met a living inspiration called Mary Ellen Ciganovich. Mary Ellen learned to cope with; did not take traditonal medication for but instea prevaled over two majoy illnesses, an abusive childhood, and the difficultires of single parentlhood to become a whole and dynamic person.
