Lee Whitaker is founder and lead pastor of Life in the River in Dundalk, Maryland, which opened November 2016. Lee married MaryJane on October 16, 1993. MaryJane and Lee have 2 daughters and 5 grandchildren. MaryJane leads worship, plays keyboard, oversees outreach ministries, and is the church secretary.    Lee previously served in Baltimore as an associate pastor, adult Sunday School teacher, Senior’s Ministry Bible teacher, Family Training Night coordinator, lead guitarist, and band leader with the Church of God for 10 years. Winfield Lee grew up and currently lives in Statesboro, Georgia, a small southern town with around 70 or 80 churches in the county. He grew up going to church yet hadn't really experienced Christ’s grace, love and mercy until he was 22 years old.
