With proclaimed "bombshell" articles recently released by the Wall Street Journal, it came to light, through an investigation by the Department of Defense's UFO office, AARO, that the United States Air Force, had up until 2023, allegedly faked UFO programs, photos, and videos as a "hazing ritual" for military personnel and to mask top secret programs concerning highly advanced man-made weapons and technology. In 1952, during an attack run on a North Korean target, pilots from a flight of US Marine Corps F4U Corsairs spotted a white circular or oval shaped object orbitting over or near their objective. The flight leader dived on the UFO but it shot away and disappeared. Four pilots provided reports for US Air Force intelligence officers detailing what they saw. In January of 1960, radar operators onboard a B-52F Stratofortress on a routine mission over an offshore training range picked up a huge object flying at incredible speeds on a collision course with their aircraft. Ryan tells the incredible story of Herbert Schirmer. On December 3rd, 1967, Schirmer, a twenty-two-year-old police officer, was driving down a desolate highway in Ashland, Nebraska. He approached a pair of lights that he believed to be a stalled vehicle. When he got closer, he realized it wasn't a vehicle on the road, but a craft hovering in the night sky. After a few moments, the craft shot out of sight and the officer returned to his station, noting the sighting in his logbook. But for Schirmer, there seemed to be a period of missing time between when he first saw the object and when he left the area. And when he finally recalled what had happened in those missing moments, the story became far bigger and stranger than first imagined, prompting the Air Force and Government to investigate. Presented in association with the Omaha World-Herald and including actual audio from Schirmer himself, this is the story of the abduction in Ashland. July 1967: two young men driving along an Ohio road late one night encountered an object giving off an intense blue white glow. Their car apparently struck the object as it lifted away from the ground. Samples of a metallic substance, believed to be from the UFO, were retrieved the following morning by one of the witnesses. In February 1967, the crew of a Faucett Airlines DC-4 reported being buzzed for an extended period of time by a UFO shaped like an inverted cone while on an evening flight from Piura to Lima. Shortly after the UFO departed, it momentarily returned with a second, identical object and proceeded to buzz the airliner again before vanishing for good. Military authorities questioned the crew and passengers, apparently confiscating photos taken of the object.
