In this message, Pastor Brad Weir shares about the experience Jesus had with those from his home town limiting their experience of God's power by their unbelief. Jesus was there to help, heal and teach them the way God's Kingdom and their unbelief hindered God's activity among them. And at this, Jesus marveled. We also see Jesus in the gospels marvel at the faith of a Centurion solider (Luke 7:9). Without faith one cannot please God (Hebrews 11:6), yet with it one can live a life that is well pleasing to Him. Faith matters.

From Psalm 63 Pastor Keith explains that God has given us access to Himself for all that we need in this life, even in the wilderness and He alone can satisfy us. Through dry & difficult times the longing in our souls for God is intensified and we are to seek Him more earnestly and trust Him fully. In the wilderness, when life was most difficult David's life exemplified an earnest desire and pursuit of God, a joyful delight in God and confident dependance of God. God was David's desire, delight and defense. You and I can experience God in this way when we walk through the dry times, the dark times and the difficult seasons of life.
