With The Batman director Matt Reeves wanting more of a realistic, gritty take on Batman, Jayce and I consider what viable options are actually on the table for the sequel he's currently planning. After Spider-Man: No Way Home's sucess, Jayce and I consider if there's any other possible comic book film that could equal its success. The Marvel Netflix shows are potentially heading to Disney+, but Jayce has some concerns.

Jayce and I discuss the last episode of The Book of Boba Fett, which once again had very little of the title character and a major focus on furthering subplots from The Mandalorian. And we geek out over the big cameos and huge debut before considering how challenging it really would be for Disney to make an Heir to the Empire live-action trilogy.

Jayce and I discuss the news of a sequel to the 2021 Mortal Kombat film in the works from Warner Bros. We also discuss our slight concern about the Uncharted movie, this week’s episode of The Book of Boba Fett and the exciting team-up of The Rock and Chris Evans for Red One.

Jayce and I break down DC's plans to kill off the Justice League, the realization that Black Panther: World of Wakanda is snakebit, the continued rise in momentum of The Book of Boba Fett and Joss Whedon torpedoing what's left of his career after a scathing interview where he blasted the Justice League cast. 

Netflix is hard at work on The Raid remake that Jayce and I want zero parts of as there’s no way it can match the intensity and fun of the modern classic action movie. Can we trust Warner Bros. and DC going forward with the DC comic book movies?  Black Widow might have been the hardest hit blockbuster over the pandemic, but a report indicates it was much worse than previously revealed.  Morbius is getting another delay. Will this Spider-Man spin-off eventually prove worth the wait? Finally, we break down the issues with The Book of Boba Fett and why it's making us cautiously optimistic about the rest of the season.
