In this episode, Leo talks about how to reconstruct your faith after it is deconstructed. Going through a deconstruction of faith (or a breaking down of certain things you thought you believed) is very, very difficult. But it is certainly possible (and a valuable experience) to learn how to reconstruct your faith! Leo breaks down how reconstruction looks and how to navigate the reconstruction phase.

In this episode, we give our advice when it comes to receiving your endowment, making covenants with God, and how to best remember the covenants you have made. What we say in this episode is mostly our opinions but we'd love to read yours! 

Joseph’s story is probably the most unique conversion story we’ve had on Saints Unscripted (but we’ll let you be the judge of that!). Joseph tells his conversion story of joining the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (otherwise known as the Mormon Church) from his previous and well-studied faith in witchcraft. He talks about the transition from his previous faith to the LDS church (spoiler alert: it wasn’t easy!) and how he navigated the years following his conversion. You don’t want to miss this story!

Recently, there has been a lot of talk in the media about LDS garments (sometimes referred to as “Mormon underwear” or “magic Mormon underwear”). The recent focus comes mostly from members of the Church of Jesus Christ but also from non-members of the LDS Church. Many members have opinions about the frequency in which one should wear the temple garment, the material of a temple garment, and more. This episode addresses the host’s opinions about the garment. Should the garment be worn all the time? Is the garment magic? Should the garment be removed for specific activities?

Andrew’s story is nothing short of REMARKABLE and we’re so honored he shared his words with us on Saints Unscripted! Andrew grew up with a few different faith backgrounds and eventually doubted the existence of God. He was at a place of despair and just needed to know if God was there. Not only that but Andrew wanted to truly know God— he wanted to void in his life to finally be filled.   You’ll never believe how Andrew ended up meeting the missionaries of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and learning about the restored gospel!

We've done plenty of "Responding to Comments" episodes but have never done an episode where we strictly answer your questions (either from direct message on Instagram, Facebook, or questions in the YouTube comments). We LOVE hearing from you and reading your comments!! In this episode, we answer questions about when to get baptized, what to do if you're doubting your faith, if we think you should go to college, etc. The answers are all strictly the opinions of the hosts but we think they are prettyyyy solid words of advice :) 

Have you ever pronounced a word wrong and not known you were wrong until you were corrected? Have you ever ‘filled in’ the words to a song without actually knowing what was being said? Words are important. Using and understanding words are important.    In this episode, Leo Winegar joins us to talk about a specific, important word: Deconstruction. Destruction is a neutral term and is a way to describe the breaking down and evaluating of one’s religion (or faith). Unfortunately, often when we see someone who is going through destruction, we assume they are crossing over a metaphorical bridge that is ‘against’ us, as faithful members. Also, when someone is experiencing deconstruction, they might assume their life is crumbling rather than evaluating and being able to move forward.

In this episode, Kaitlyn, David, and Justin talk about their experiences upon coming home from serving a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (otherwise known as the Mormon Church or LDS Church). They talk about the mental health challenges that sometimes occur upon returning home from a mission and how they were able to navigate such challenges. Kaitlyn talks about her heightened anxiety and how it took medical professionals to help her overcome such challenges.

How do I communicate with God? How do I build a better relationship with God? How do I learn from God if I can't hear Him? These are some of the most commonly asked questions from the Saints Unscripted audience and we totally understand where you are coming from! It's not easy to figure out how God speaks to you. While we aren't experts, we have some experiences that we want to share, as well as thoughts from others about how best to build your relationship with God. How do you learn about God and build your relationship with Him?

Being positive, being optimistic, and being hopeful can be very difficult. While some may have a more difficult time than others with the prospect of maintaining a hopeful outlook on life, it can still be a challenge for everyone. In this episode, the Saints Unscripted hosts talk about how they have chosen positivity and hope, despite the challenges in life. None of the hosts claim to be life coaches, therapists, or other professionals but they have some awesome advice that could be beneficial for the average person who hopes to find more good in their life.

If you have been a long-time follower of our channel, you've seen Allex in a couple of episodes but haven't had a full introduction. In this episode, Allex shares her conversion story which she considers simple, but that we consider powerful. Whether or not you were born into a family of members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, chances are high that you had to have your own conversion experience to remain a member of the LDS Church. In this episode, Allex shares her story of growing up in the church and finding her own testimony of the church.

You are going to be BLOWN AWAY with this story! Treyeshua joins us today to share his story about finding Jesus. In Treyeshua’s early adulthood, he found financial success very quickly. He lived a life of luxury and seeming ease, but he was depressed and knew there had to be something more to life. He spent the next 30+ years searching for Jesus. Treyeshua talks about his journey, having to go through all kinds of trials and fallbacks, but how he eventually learned about the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. You don’t want to miss this story!

If you grew up in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in the mid-90's and early-2000's, you've likely seen the infamous Mormon Ads produced by the Church (otherwise known as the Mormon Church). The graphic design is awesome, though sometimes a little far-fetched (as we'll discuss in today's episode). Today we’re at Camp Floyd, Utah! This is where 1/3 of the United States army came for the Utah War (which has A LOT do with LDS History (otherwise known as Mormon History)) and we’re in the full costumes to set the mood to share this true story with YOU!    You might recognize Marc from a previous episode we filmed with him (see below) but what you might not have realized is that the Utah War is a passion for Marc so we eagerly jumped at the opportunity to film this episode with him! We talk polygamy, civil war, guns, artifacts from the war, etc.

Jacob Herring has been a long-time fan of Saints Unscripted (in fact, he's been an avid watcher since episode ONE) so we are stoked to hear him tell his story on the show! Jacob talks about his journey in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (otherwise known as the Mormon Church), as well as his faith journey through other religions. Jacob was once Pentecostal and loved the practice but felt like he still had many questions. He wasn't sure where to go next so he began searching about others religions. He talks about how he came across the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, how he found Saints Unscripted, and the long journey to baptism. 

Today is a somber day for Saints Unscripted. Today we say goodbye to an amazing host of Saints Unscripted, Samantha. Sam has done SO. MUCH. GOOD. for so many people who have watched the channel, as well as for the entire Saints Unscripted team. She spoke to many women issues, all of which were vital discussions which generated a lot of love (as well as some heated comments, which were indicative of an important topic!). Sam is equally witty, intelligent, and kind. We are so lucky to have had the chance to work with her!! Good luck to you, Sam!!

For those of you celebrating this weekend, happy 4th of July! We recognize that many of you live outside of the United States of America so it's not often that we make videos that are specific to the USA. However, because this weekend is the 4th of July, we decided to quiz each other on knowledge of quotes by some presidents of the United States. You will probably be SHOCKED at which quotes are from the US presidents and which are from LDS prophets!! 

In this episode, we had the remarkable opportunity to speak with some missionaries directly from Carthage Jail. For those who are new to the history of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (otherwise known as the Mormon church), Carthage Jail was the place where Joseph Smith, Jr, the first latter-day prophet in the LDS Church, was killed. He was in jail awaiting trial when a mob of angry men broke through the door and shot both Joseph and Hyrum, Joseph's brother. The sister missionaries that joined us today talk about their experience as missionaries serving on such sacred ground. What did you learn from the missionaries?
