Jake Berry joins us on the show to talk about bullying, LGBTQ, coming home early from a mission, disabilities, and more. Jake was born with cerebral palsy and was consequently bullied all throughout his life. He talks about his treatment after coming home early from his mission as well as his life following his mission and how it's ok living in the unknown just like he is now. As he shares his experience, he urges all people to learn to be more accepting and loving, which is a message we could all use. 

Today's episode is coming at you all the way from POLAND! Jan joins us to talk about his conversion story and starting his YouTube channel, Mormonolog. Jan is a theologian, becoming passionate about religion when he was quite young. While he learned about the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints as a teen, he didn't begin his true relationship with the religion until his second year of his theology studies. Hey millennials! Today’s episode on Saints Unscripted is especially for YOU!! Today Justin sits down with Brynne Nelson, long-time writer/recently published author and mom of 4 beautiful children. We’re not sure how she does it all but somehow, she pulls it off with grace and happiness. Today Brynne talks to us about her book, “The Tuesday Morning Principle.” In her book, Brynne talks about applying the gospel into everyday life and overcoming the intimidation of studying gospel topics. 

We're back with our good friend, Drew Young! Drew appeared in previous episodes on both Saints Unscripted and The Middle (both episodes are linked below). We are always uplifted and inspired by him so we are STOKED to have him back on the show! In this episode, Drew touches on a topic that we seldom address on this channel but that we know is important and impacts so many lives. Drew talks about his experience being bullied while growing up, both verbally and physically. He discusses both his experiences and how he's been able to confront the bullies in his life. Whether or not you've been bullied, this topic is vital to understand, as we can all learn to be a little kinder to one another.

We're so excited to be talking about one of our favorite topics today! It's very likely that you've heard people casually refer to something positive as "a blessing." But what does the term mean in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints? While members of the Church of Jesus Christ use 'blessings' as a term for something positive that God has given, it also refers to the laying on of hands using the authority of the priesthood to heal the sick, help those in need, and perform ordinances like the giving the gift of the Holy Ghost and so forth.

Today we’re talking with Frank about how to treat people who have left the Church. Frank has experience with loved ones leaving the church and while he feels a little sad at times, he loves his people so very much. This interview is perfect for those who are struggling with family members leaving the church or for people who have left the church.

Casper has a remarkable story and we are honored to have him on our channel to share his story with you!   Casper shares about growing up with a friend who was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and who seemed to have it all together. He didn't think much about his friend's religious affiliation until after his friend served a mission. He started playing basketball with his friend and continued to learn from each other. But it wasn't until Casper's dad had undergone some economic turmoil for him to really begin thinking about the Church (and even then, his parents were the first to really look into the Church). The rest of the story is AMAZING!!

In this episode, Dallas shares a fantastic story about how he was able to secure the location for filming The Chosen by getting permission from the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (otherwise known as the Mormon Church).

Today we met a remarkable recent convert of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Her story is so fulfilling, though it isn’t void of some difficulties, as you’ll hear from her story. Hannah was baptized in September of 2020, though her knowledge of the Church of Jesus Christ (otherwise known as the Mormon Church) started much earlier. Hannah has close connections to congregational leaders in other denominations and thus, has dabbled in religion throughout her life. However, she always felt that something was missing. Hannah’s boyfriend taught her about the Church and when he mentioned a specific doctrine, she knew it was the answer to prayer. Listen to hear what Hannah learned and how her life has changed since joining the Church!

We are STOKED for you to hear the episode from our new friend, Charlie! Charlie has a remarkable story about joining the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He talks about his learning of the Church and attendance since 2018, having a really cool dream about the temple, and deciding to be baptized in August 2020. His story is powerful and beautiful and we are humbled to have interviewed him to share the story with all of you!

This episode was a BLAST! We had the very unique and exciting opportunity to interview a Freemason and Mormon, Brandon! The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Saints has some distant history of freemasonry and ties within the LDS temple to freemasonry. Though not many members of the church are Freemasons, Brandon happens to be one and has an incredible story to tell. He talks about how both his religion and his association in Freemasonry go hand-in-hand.

Some argue that members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (otherwise known as Mormons) don’t believe in Jesus Christ. There are arguments as to which version of Jesus Christ we believe in so we thought we’d chat about the Jesus Christ who is our Savior.   We talk about basic facts about His life, His teachings, and more.

Oliver’s conversion story is absolutely fascinating, as you’ll soon learn. Oliver has a riveting background of searching for true christianity in different religions and finally deciding to disprove the religions he believed to be false. The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (otherwise known as the Mormon church) proved to him to be a false church and one that he needed to investigate in order to save. Through his research, he decided to go to a church meeting and decided that, indeed, the church was very strange. How did Oliver end up joining the religion he believed to be false? Portia Louder was sent to prison for many years due to real estate fraud. Her story of being sentenced to prison in front of her husband and children is incredibly heart-wrenching, as you will see from this video. We wanted to interview Portia to hear why she has decided to vocalize her experience behind bars, specifically as a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (otherwise known as the Mormon Church). Portia shares the real stories of life in prison as well as how her relationship with God has evolved over time. This is an episode you don't want to miss!!

Marc and Dennis share a story unlike the other stories you've heard on our channel because, well, Marc was baptized by Dennis so you get to hear from both the perspective of the missionary and the perspective of the convert. Dennis and Marc were coworkers and found themselves chatting here and there about Dennis' membership in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (otherwise known as the Mormon Church).
