When we think of the Christmas story we tend to think of the long awaited fulfillment of Old Testament prophecies of a virgin giving birth to a baby in Bethlehem. But Revelation 12 tells another version of the Christmas story that helps explain why the world we are living in feels so dark! Thankfully, scripture reminds us that Jesus came that first Christmas as the true light of the world and that he will return again to conquer the darkness in our world once and for all!

We live in a tired, worn-out, weary world. You may be feeling weary this Christmas season, and you probably have a very good reason why. Paul Mumaw shares from the book of 1 John and we discover that because Jesus came to earth and is alive today we, as followers of Jesus, can rejoice even in our weariness!
