Dan Sedlacek, at 14, was inspired to seek out the PCT when he met a group of friendly thru-hikers. Years later, he and his brother tackled the 2600+ mile trail using gear they had made themselves. The Tour Divide is a backcountry off-road cycling route spanning over 2700 miles from Banff, Canada to Antelope Wells, New Mexico. Sarah Tiedemann grew up indoors in New Jersey living out her childhood adventures in books while developing an intense fear of the unknown world around her. Nick Smolinske spent his childhood indoors playing video games. Commuting on a bicycle in college triggered something inside that lay dormant and he discovered a passion for active outdoor pursuits. Over a decade ago, Jeannine Tidwell and her husband moved to Sandpoint, Idaho on a path to fulfill a goal she formed as a young adult. Kat Carney and Craig Kinsley have embraced a life of coincidences and (occasionally literal) lucky breaks. A broken hand lead Craig down an unexpected path that would bring him to the 2012 Olympics as a Javelin Thrower.
