  • Issue 72: Gamenomics

    19/01/2012 Duração: 42min

Have you ever been on YouTube to see a message that a video has been removed to protect someone's intellectual property or prevent copyright prevention? Yes? Well, have you ever seen that message when trying to view a promotional trailer released specifically to be placed on YouTube by various members of the media? Doesn't that sound a little mind-numbing? Click through to find a link to hear more about this particular issue, and how I reflect it to the SOPA & PIPA bills currently being talked about in the US Congress. Oh, but there's a lot more to PB & Jason than just those bills; click through to see the rest! Remember how last week had the theme "Pick on Nick!"? The theme is revisited, as I talk more about how Amy is just such a hard game to run into walls, and reference a few comments he and Jesse Miller left behind. Then, I jump into making a point: There's money to be saved on waiting to pick up games. Big savings, in fact. All this and general news in this week's best ever PB & Jason. Click

  • Issue 71: Staying OnLive

    12/01/2012 Duração: 39min

PB & Jason issue 71 is many things. Dignified is probably not one of them. Join me for a special week of PB & Jason, which includes things such as excerpts from Nick's Amy review, news of OnLive hitting all Google TVs, Club Nintendo downloadable titles, and more! Hooray! Of course, I should mention that near the end of the podcast, I source this andriasang page pretty heavily, so maybe check it out. Look to the right to see the download/player links for PB & Jason 71, which just so happens to be this week's best PB & Jason issue!

  • Issue 70: There's a Fly in My SOPA

    05/01/2012 Duração: 01h01min

Listen to this week's (best ever issue) of PB & Jason and find all you could ever want to hear about my thoughts of a sequel to Disney Epic Mickey. Spoiler alert: This is one 2012 release I'm not at all excited about. Afterward, hear a breakdown of the Avenger Controller/OceanMarketting/DanDave customer service fiasco. PB & Jason is basically wrapped up by providing my thoughts on the ESA support of the SOPA bill, as well as my thoughts on the ESA in general. Oh, and will I buy a PlayStation Vita at launch? The most likely answer is inside! Those who leave a comment with this issue's secret passphrase will win the satisfaction of leaving a comment! Hooray! Don't forget to join me next time, at the same PB & Jason time, same PB & Jason place, Wednesday evenings!

  • Issue 69: The Cost of Choice

    22/12/2011 Duração: 53min

This week's PB & Jason takes the idea of exclusive game content offered as retailer-specifc preorder bonus to the task, specifically in relation of Final Fantasy XIII-2. In short, I think the idea is ridiculous, and I'm surprised to see Square Enix using this tactic for a Final Fantasy title. Oh, and I talk about Jesse's Nano Assault review, Bastion & Nick, a certain PixlTalk commentor is taken to the task, I bring up the games I'll be playing over Christmas, suggest a few reasons against buying the Vita at launch, and finally, I wrap up with some thoughts on the recent 3DS update to the Mii Plaza. Enjoy this week's best ever issue of PB & Jason! Merry Christmas to all!

  • Issue 68: Best Issue Ever.

    15/12/2011 Duração: 47min

I could sit here and type out the things I talk about in this week's PB & Jason. I could tell you I go over my thoughts and opinions about the PixlBit Games of the Year. And yes, I could talk about how I mention the NXE and the PS3 lawsuit, or tell you another gift idea for the holidays. I could do all of that, but that would be boring. Instead, just listen to PB & Jason #68. I know it's what you want. At least, it's what I want. So be nice, and give it a try. Just like #67, and #66 before that, this week's issue is, of course, the best issue ever.

  • Issue 67: PB 'N' J

GamePro is gone! The once-popular gaming magazine is dead, and to talk about it, Nick joins me on this BONUS-SIZE issue of PB & Jason! Two PixlBit staff for the price of one! The GamePro news combines with talk of the conflicts behind preorders and reviews to make a media vs. PR-centric PB & Jason issue. Be sure to listen... TODAY!

  • Issue 65: Super Mario 3D Bland

    17/11/2011 Duração: 44min

This week's PB & Jason revolves mainly around Mario! That's right, I've gotten my hands on Super Mario 3D Land now that it has released stateside, and I've been playing it like crazy. The ones where the multiplayer doesn't really work. Which games made the list? Donkey Kong Country Returns, Rayman Origins, and Ratchet & Clank: All4One. Other topics this week include Penny-Arcade's Super Mario 3D Land and Skyward Sword comics, the question of whether or not I should become an owner of a Playstation Vita, and the te

Oh, and there's also some Dungeon Defenders talk inside as well. The issue starts out with a dissection of Kotaku's gut. Should you buy Kirby's Return to Dream Land? For everyone that doesn't hate fun, the answer is a resounding "YES!" Afterwards, I get into the issues with Dungeon Defenders and its menus. And boy, are there issues. The podcast closes with a quick round up of some news I find interesting. Please note that due to yesterday's Return to Dream Land PlayBit, this week's PB & Jason arrived a day late. • Issue 59: Meta-Banned

    06/10/2011 Duração: 51min

Before it does that, Jason hits on some other recent news. After a few minutes, the conversation shifts from Jobs to Apple's new iPhone 4S and what gamers should expect with it.  Following all this, there's naturally some Club Nintendo criticism, and even the mention of the currently potential Republican presidential candidate and his relationship to Pokemon!  Finally, after all this, Jason describes his perceptions of the competitive Brawl community and their impending ban of Meta Knight. Next up, some talk about the big 3DS pre-Tokyo Game Show press conference occurs. There's not much to say here, but expectedly, I poke fun at Square Enix's newly announced, upcoming 3DS game's name. Please note, contents of the celebration issue will be remarkably similar to the contents found inside any other PB & Jason, brief retrospection notwithstanding. After some fun reminiscing of all the rants I've gone on in the past year, this week's PB & Jason kicks into gear with the announcement of all the Nintendo Ambassador NES 3DS Virtual Console Titles!
