For those that are joining us for the first time or if it’s been a minute, three years ago, Kris was diagnosed with stage 4 ⁠Chondrosarcoma⁠, an aggressive bone cancer in his pelvis and was literally weeks from the disease taking his life. To save him, doctors performed a grueling surgery called a Pelvectomy. Yes it’s as harrowing as it sounds. The entire left side of his pelvis had to be amputated and in the process he lost a perfectly good left leg. This episode is a little disturbing and enlightening.  My guest today is 19-year old Camilla Cloward, founder of the non-profit organization that raises awareness to the world’s number one growing criminal enterprise, human trafficking, Giving A Voice.  Her story is one that no child or human should ever have to endure yet out of the horrific darkness of repeated sexual assaults starting at age 14, leading into drug addiction and a suicide attempt came the passion not be a victim and to help other young people never have to travel the road she has.
