This message was preached at Temple Baptist Church of Richland, Washington during the evening service on September 26. We were blessed by the fellowship and encouragement of this special congregation of believers.

Idols are what keep us from loving God. Do you have any Idols? If so you don't love God!

Romans 8:28 teaches that God can turn something bad into something good for those who love God. We can see this in Jesus' life as He was attacked by the Jews again in our passage - Mathew 22:15-22.

Someone once wrote, "Parables are like may-sided precious stones, cut so as to cast luster in more than one direction" The Parable of the marriage feast is one of Jesus' last parables, just days before his death on the cross.

In a similar way that Nathan used a story to bring conviction of sin to David, Jesus uses a parable to confront the religious leaders with their sin. David repented but the leaders of Judaism did not. They rejected their Messiah!

We are commanded in Scripture to "Hold Fast!" I Thessalonians 5:21 II Timothy 1:13 Hebrews 3:6 Hebrews 4:14 Hebrews 10:23 How are you doing?

America! "It is the best of times and the worst of times!" It is time to repent and turn to Christ with the whole heart.
