In this Episode, we summarise our May Bookclub meeting where we discussed The Watchmaker of Filigree Street by Natasha Pulley and The Ride: The Jeffrey Curley Murder and It's Aftermath by Brian MacQuarrie. Two very different books but both captured readers attentions especially the true story of the Jeffrey Curley case.

In this month's ARA City Bookclub, I discuss two books which could inspire you and challenge you to look at life differently! Kazuo Ishiguro's 'The Buried Giant' is a beautiful fable about memory and loss. Ishiguro is a well known British writer who wrote Never Let Me Go. Mitch Albom's 'The Five People You Meet in Heaven' is a short and poignant book which really makes you think. The main protagonist Eddie dies at age 83 and he thinks his life has had no meaning, until he meets five people in heaven...
